Life & travel scribbles

So..what to start with?! We arrived late at night, grabbed a taxi to Nata's home (hectically driven by a half-asleep driver), argued a bit about the price that he brought up at the very end (obviously). We passed by two cows next to the road-barricade, kicking back calmly. Charming. Unfortunarelly, when getting out of the taxi, J.frantically picked up his backpack with a tablet inside, so its screen happily cracked.. Anyways, we got there in one piece, thank god.   Day 1. The next day we woke up hellishly late but still enjoyed a day to go to the local market (rickshaw^^), exchange some cash, eat some (spiciest ever) pumpkin soup in a rather "european-style" place and go for a birthday party on the roof, somewhere in the Delhi's "posh' area ;) An amazing mix of ppl from all over the world, almost. Interesting from this point of view, and quite tiring considering the music and ambient around, but hey..;) J.was recognized twice by some random guys. Some ...

Three days to go. Preparations accomplished, bags/backpacks almost done, equipment wrapped, packed and ready to take off. Ps. Pedrak is out of the country having fun in London, last minute. Maybe not the best moment to be off, but hope to see him on Sunday in the late morning. What awaits us is a quick review, last getting through India-must-do and rush for the farewell of ours and my birthday party (coincidentally we can celebrate those 2 festivities together ^^) and well... that's it for now, here in Poland.. Monday - heading for our shelter in Warsaw, peacefully located in a friend's house. Tuesday - hectic morning (expected) and flight to Doha (Qatar) and later on, after the transfer, directly to New Delhi where we gonna put our first steps at 3 o'clock at night. Fab. Wednesday - Delhi here we come! :)

We live in England, in the countryside for the moment, but moving around quite often. Living out of the city is something we find most pleasant and the window-views are soothing all the w orries one may have :) We are trying to reduce our environmental impact, buy local veggies and eggs as much as possible, tend a little garden - we have a few planting beds for our own (with herbs and veg), we make compost and apple juice (from seasonal apples from the grove) and try to reduce waste - which is not an easy thing, here in this part of the UK at least. Except from traveling scribbles, I will be updating my/our attempts of zero-waste attitude and becoming more and more self-/sustainable.  Peace! ^^   Me  - Nati A crazy bun, you all possibly know me so there's not much need to introduce myself.
